If it is a DVD-9 disk then you will need to compress it - try DVD2One which will let you select which audio streams to keep.

After the compression is done the files will still be VOB files - you can use Copytodvd or Nero to burn the vob files as dvd video.
DVD2one can link directly to copytodvd so it can burn the files straight away after compressing.
