OMG!! Jeez, that must be one of the funniest things I have read here...

Bet the customer is Macrovision or Sony

Maybe you should sell it to them with some EULA like "you are allowed to used this on copyprotected disc (i.e Macrovison Safe****, Sony Sexxurom). If you do, you must ask the companies to remove the protection first)..yeah, you know the drill..
