Just been phoned by the company who have told me that the PS2 is fixed. Seemed the problem was the chip and not my soldering!! Either dead or bad architecture
Sent it to Playstationrepair.co.uk and should get it back tuesday with a DMS chip and repaired and the price was good so if all is well I can definately recommend them! Ill leave others to tell me if the F14 chip is any good or if Ive been unlucky, but im gonna join the DMS bandwagon for now
