If you dont have a no-cd crack, you can make an image of your *original* CD and mount it. If the image is was done right, the game wont know its not the original. Put CD away for safe keeping.

If you cant make a good copy of the original, you can still mount the imperfect image as long as you have a fixed-exe crack. A roundabout way of doing no-cd.
After installing from the original of course.
