After Patching SNK VS. capcom

I have no problems burning selfboots. But snk vs capcom, would not work. So I got the patch that would convert it to non self boot. After using cdirip and patchin the .iso file. I tried using nero
mode 1 level 2 joliet. And after using utopia boot the game will not load I burn the audio file and the patched iso and still it did not work. What am I missing. I have a sony spressa CRX 120e.
