Big Problems with DJ 2.0

ok...I burned first 2 disks of Shenmue no problem with Disc Juggler...third disk big problem...got an error mesage when it reached 100% "tracking, focus or spindle servo failure" then it spit out the cd and and asked to place another cd in it...so i tried cdi2nero and converted the cdi to nrg...tried burning the image with Nero both with DAO and TAO and and go error message...one was a scsi/ide error and the other was "cannot write with this burner"...never had a problem with either DJ or nero before...tried different media too!!!
i have a Cretive Labs 4224E (flashed to a JVC XR-W4080 so i can burn PSX backups too...I have a jinxter driver for DJ but now Padus said it supports all JVC models...so i re-installed DJ 2.0 without jinxter driver...no good...my firmware is 0.53 do i need to upgrade the firmware? do i need disc juggler 3.0 to burn cdi image without cdiconv? or do i throw my comp out the damn window?

Someone please help...i burned Action Replay with DJ no problem i dunno what to do any help will be veyr much appreciated...thanks!
