Hmm.... I jsut read this thread more carefully and it seems you guiys don't know about the movie fix. It's not the cd 2 addon for grandia 2 but the movies for the magic casting. The magic spell movies were ripped from the japanese version of the game and works fine when overwritten into the american version of the game. Echelon (the giuys that ripoped the american game) didn't realise that by down sampling the magic movies, the game itself would read it more quickly and since the movie finishes to early, it crashes after Zap! is casted.
