My PS2 doesn't recognize Philips.
If I use Maxell I don't have any problems. The difference between the Philips and the Maxell is that if I hold the cd's into the light I can see through the Philips but I can't see through the Maxell. I also use cd's without a brand and those work good and also with these cd's I can't look through them if I hold them to the light.
