Hacking xboxdash.xbe

Has anyone else been paying attention to this lately? It has been very interesting. A man going by Voltaic over at the Xbox-Scene forum developed a tool to extract .xap files from the .xip files in xboxdashdata on the C drive. The tool will then also reack and resign the .xbe to that is accepts the new file sizes. The coding for the files isn't even that hard, after about a day long headache you kind of get used to it. If you would like to get started here is a tutorial, http://www.geocities.com/gcue_bar/XdashTut.txt Thanks to Gcue for the tutorial, Xbox War3z for the GUI, and huge props to Voltaic for the source. If you would like to learn more visit any one of the threads that have popped up in the Development section of the Xbox-Scene forums.
