I think it depends on how that 1st copy was made.
I have also made "copies of a copy" on MAX PAYNE. I made another copy from a copy of "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" so you see it's probably up to how the 1:1 copy was made. "Too much work and no Play makes Jack a dull Boy"
