Ok... I follow the tips from you and I confirmed that the cable is a CROSSOVER . Thanks ! The program that I'm using is that one that "you talk" FlashFXP. I have the PC and the XBOX connected through the cable, before I turn on both equipment (PC and XBox). Headly says :"...one for broadband and one for my xbox connection, make sure to disable all connections beside you xbox" ? I'm sorry but I did not understand. I go to the network folder, choose the TCP/IP and choose my ethernet adapter, then properties instead of "obtain an IP address" I choose " Specify an IP address" And i use: IP -> 192.168.0.1 and submask -> 255.255.255.0 So... Do I have to do something more on the PC ? Because I got the same errors message: "Connection Failed (connection timed out)". |
