Don't make useless posts to keep a thread at the top of the board, this is seen as extremely impolite. If nobody answers your initial thread, it's generally okay to post another message a week later, but certainly not sooner than that. I understand that you're anxious to get a quick reply, but if everyone would bump it would be very hard to actually READ the messages on the board.
