No that makes perfect sense, to ban an XBox they must have the XBoxes MAC address in order to ban it. Now that I think about it the ISP I work for before an ADSL customer can use the internet they must register the MAC address of there ethernet card.
thanks all, probably may never have to worry about it before XBox Next but you never know, technology grows each and every day.
