How to unpack files of MGS2 Substance?

I know, I've seen the posts before about backing up the game.
But I don't just want to make a backup copy. Iwant to expirimentate some with the game, edit, modify, (str)rip it; get into it. Of many other games there are lot tools around that can open, add and edit graphics of the game. Like GTA and Diablo for instance. So why not of the best game series of the century?
Okay, it's rather new this PC port but is then someone aware of some tools for Metal Gear Solid first PC port of microsoft?

Some tips to strip the MGS2 game for the rippers around:

-Remove the 32 bit highres textures
-Remove all 44.1 khz sounds
-Remove some long not so important movies and replace them with a dia presentation of a few captures of the movie, along with text under it what's was said inthe movie.
-Remove all the extras like vrmissions and snake tales
-Rip the voice acting of the codex to a seperate add-on
