Unhappy PS2 backup NOT booting

Please Help me.

1st off: Of course im a N00b or I wouldnt be asking some of these questions.

I just got a "no solder modchip w/ the swap magic 2 disk. I burned the images to a cdr, and do as Im instructed to swap out the magic cd w/ the backed up image... and I get NO boot.

All I get is a "insert disk" prompt. When I put in the backed up disk, and hit start. I get a Pinkish border outline, and thats it.

Can "ANYONE" tell me IF this is a Installation problem on my part or IF I didnt burn the images with the proper software?

Could someone Help me out or direct me to the thread thats given this information out a thousand times.

**Im going Crazy... cant get this to work!**

What game?

Describe your backup process and your boot process.

What I got

What I have is a Playstation 2 SCPH-35001 model w/ a NO solder modchip w/ magic swap 2 disk.

I burn the image using DVDrom= Pioneer A03 w/ PrimoDVD software.

I try to burn the image to a CDR w/ my modchip setup. ... And whola!! ... Nothing

**Do I need to actually back them up on DVD-r's

Forgive my ignorance... -> Im a N00|3 <-

Thx for the help though.

P.S. Should I burn the Image a slower speed.
Ive used Nero, and Discjuggler to NO avail.

Umm... oh hell yes you have to burn to DVD's.

Unless the games are on CD.

Wink ???

No. It actually had files on the disk. The size of the image is only: 814,874KB in size.

big enough size to fit onto a CD-r.

Thanx for all the good info. though
