The downside to no-swap mods is that you have to either pay to have them installed, or bust out the soldering iron and attack the guts of your PS2.
You can get no-solder mods, which have a small list of unplayable games... *shrug* I always advise to do a no-swap mod. The issue, of course, is both cost and difficulty of install. - Gurm |
