Would any of these triggers actually be invoked by backing up the game? What I mean is, would substituting the original EXE with a fixed one also take care of all these triggers?
I want to try to back this game up, my CD writer is a little old now though I managed to successfully backup CM4 the other day which I believe uses the same protection? So should it just be the same procedure using Alcohol 120% btw my writer is unable to measure the DPM on the CD.
I do not mind using a fixed EXE, which I know I will have to use - any suggestions on making a basic functional backup, so that I can retire the original CD and Case to my shelf
