1) There are three ways to do this.
Buy a modchip and solder it in
Buy a solderless modchip that you dont have to solder. (this also depends on your XBox ver)
Or flash your XBox's TSOP (still need a modchip)

2) I don't think its unstable. I've only had it frezze on me once. And that was long befor I chipped it.

3) Look at xbox game size list post for game sizes.

6) I'm really not in to that, but I bet some one here will be able to tell ya.

7) No, a PC DVD-Rom can not read the XBox game format.

6) Are you talking about macro-vision? My chip dose not trun it off, but I'm told the X2 dose.
