go to a battlefield site and search!
Hint: 'renderer.allowallrefreshrates' and if you have the chance: try a different monitor! a friend of mine has some tft or lcd (don't know) and has exactly the same problem (blank screen but music plays). this is definately monitor-related, as with an 'old-style' crt monitor everything works ok.
