What is the best DVD-Rom and CD-RW
Hey guys. Im building a new computer soon and im going to have a dvd and burner in it and just wanted to know what is the best DVD-Rom(Pioneer/Lite-On ect) and CD Burner(Plextor/Lite-On ect). I don't want a DVD-R because I don't really burn/want to/need to burner DVDs. Also does anyone know THE BEST CD Burner like the Plextor SCSI ones.
Thanks Eddie |

I would get a Lite-On. They are awesome. For dvd-rom it doesn't really matter. They are all basically the same.

Ok. Yea at the moment I use a Lite-On burner because I heard that they are the best for burning Protected Game CDs. I also use a Lite-On DVD-Rom and I am happy with it atm because a while ago I installed Mafia on a computer with a normal CD-Rom and then on another computer with the Lite-On DVD-Rom and it installed about 2, 3 times quicker. Also I tried coping my friends Ghost Recon CD and it said it couldn't copy something over so I tried with the DVD and it worked fine.
