Xecuter 2 lite, Evo-x, NEED HELP!!!!

I installed the Xecuter 2 lite chip into my xbox. I soldered all the wires needed to run the chip, (even that nasty grey "do" wire)
Now, before all of this, I had the enigmah chip installed, with evox dash installed. Thre reason why I'm switching chips, is because I'm putting in an 80 gig Maxtor HDD. Now, I've already made a backup of my previous HDD onto my pc, and have switched HDD's from my xbox. And I have the Xecuter 2 lite chip installed (I did not install the pogo pins)

Now, I believe I have made the correct connections, cause when I booted up my xbox, all of a sudden this screen appeared, + no flashing red lights!! Here's what the screen says......

Now, at the bottom of the screen there are 4 icons, 2 of which are shadowed over, the other 2 icons, are a pic of a CD, and a Chip. I tried putting in my evox installation disk, it would'nt accept it. I even tried making a bootable cd with the ozxflash.iso, (which was recommended by the xecuter chip web site) still nothing. The Xecuter site said that the lite chips needed to be reflashed with the BIOS of your choice. But I can't reflash the chip, cause I can't get anything to work. I'm totally new to this whole BIOS, FLASHING bit. I don't think I screwed up my xbox, cause there's no red lights flashing. Please tell me what I need to do, and please don't send me to some crazy faq's or forums, there to confusing as it is. I really need your guys input!!! hmm so u gotta bad bios most likely
how did u set up the new hdd?
uhh
for the bad bios problem u could:
1) send it back to where u got it and ask them to exchange it
or
2)buy the linker that allows u to flash the x2 lite, i believe its out now

All I did was install the HDD as it was. All I did was install the chip as it was.

And when I turned on the xbox, this screen appeared that I've stated before. Also went to that ozxflash website that xecuter told me to go to. It told me I need the iso file from there to flash my chip. This stupid file does nothing!!!! I burn the file, I go to load it, and then it says.....

Loading linuxboot.cfg from CDROM.... Unable to find it, halting

This is driving me crazy!!!! I'm so lost it's not even funny!!!! I've spent hours trying to figure this out. This file, "ozxflashcd.iso" does absoulutly nothing for me, yet the xecuter site says to use it?!?!?!? and what is this linuxboot.cfg????? I'm losing it guys!!! All I need to do is flash the chip!! that's all, I know I can do the rest myself, i just can;t get past this first part. I turn the machine, by hitting the power switch, after 3 seconds the tray pops out. (obviously looking for the flash disk) I put in the disk i made with xiso called, "ozxflash.iso" and i get what I wrote up above. ARGH, *wiping off tears* please help me!!!!!

y does it say linux in the first place?
did u use an old hdd?
or was it new?
and did u try to program linux on it?

check around, im pretty sure u can buy a linker of the x2 lite to the comp for flashing
i dropped my x2 lite due to so many hassles
i like the matrix better

I did not use my old HDD. I had the new one in before i soldered the chip in. I have no idea where to go, or what to do, as of right now, my xbox is a paperweight!!!! I waited 2 weeks for this chip, and this is what it does,,,nothing!!! This is an xecuter 2 lite chip, and the very first time i turn the machine on with the chip inside, i get this "Xbox Linux Clean BIOS 1.8" bull**** I'd like to hear more opinions before I do anything else. Also, I did not program the chip with Linux. How can I program it, lol. I can't do crap with it.

A combination of things.

I did hours of searching to figure out if anyone had the same problems as me. For starters, I had to remove the jumper for the flash to take process. Second, I've been burning the ozxflash.iso, at 4x speed. I was told you MUST do it at 2x speed. Believe me, whoever told me that, was right. I guess the slower the speed, really makes a difference. It's just so god damn weird. I had the file to flash the chip, I just had to burn the disc so damn slow. Technology is so friggin weird!!! But now, I have my 80gig working, with my evox dash!!! Thank you all for your input and advice. And to change the subject for just a second, I would like to take a moment and say it sucks that gamegizmo.com is shutting down. That site, is what got me started in all of this!!! They we're the most reliable site for the things you needed. I will surely miss them!!! Once again, thank you all!!!! Now all I'm waiting for, is an updated arcade, so I can play the games that don't have enough ram to play em. Thank you
