I have backed up some of my dvd’s to vcd with Super DVD Ripper. The backups work fine on my computer and play fine on my dvd player through the tv. I took my copy (VCD) to my mates house and it played ok on his dvd player. He made a copy of it with cdrwin on his computer (64meg ram) however, when we played it there was slight pixel breakup and sometimes the film ‘jerked’ or froze slightly. I am not a ‘techy’ person with computers but I am a person who always want’s to know ‘why?’
Is it because there is not enough ram, or could it be that a copy of a copy causes this? We kept the default settings on cdrwin (which did not report any error’s) and the writer is supported (Iomega 4x) His operating system is Windows98 se (which I have heard is a bit ‘buggy’) Then again it could be something totally different! I would be very greatful if anyone could help me. Thankyou very much…
