Well you certainly save me some time here
Alcohol120% should be perfectly capable of doing this, it's handy to have an extra way to fix things when the cracks don't work, and it certainly wouldn't hurt to try.... If nothing else you can make a 1:1 copy with any cd authoring program (even Nero) and it will work with the fixed exe, so you can safely put away the original. Now I didn't read it anywhere, but did the game work with just the fixed exe and a backup or the original in the drive ?
