first, what burner are you using? try slowing down your burn speed, you are getting underruns because the data is not getting to the writer fast enough. does your cd writer's manual say as to whether to leave DMA on or off, and what setting is it at the present time? what does your cd writer's manual say about auto insert notification, on or off, and what is it's present setting? are you copying directly from cd reader to the cd recorder. if you have an IDE drive and are doing this, that is probably the reason for your buffer underruns. copy to an image first and then burn from the image if you are using an IDE drive.
