There is a long list of games that won't work properly with a no-solder mod.

It grows every day.

I know that the idea of not opening up the PS2 is an attractive one, but having a no-solder mod is no better than taking a knife and prying open your drive door.

If you're afraid to do the mod, get someone competent to do it. I don't take on mod jobs (too busy lately to do any except my own and friends/family) but others here on the forums do.
