Well, an IDE drive SORT OF FITS.
It's got an IDE interface, but the power plug is moved over, purposely, so that you have to buy the drive from Sony. Not a problem for even the most amateur modder to fix, but then you'd need to know how to format a PSX drive, and without the Linux kit that isn't gonna happen.
