Most... If not all cd based games use the libcrypt protection....
As far as dvd games being protected..... It depends on what you want to call "protection".... Mike Tysons Boxing has "FADE" protection BUT it ONLY affects it if you rip the game to cd-r... It does not affect a 1:1 copy on dvd-r. There was a post awhile back that mentioned there may be a couple of games that were protected (I cant remember which titles... I think they were PAL games) The biggest thing that I would consider a good protection is DVD-9 games... And thats not a protection BUT it is a pain in the A$$ since they are too big to fit on a dvd-r....(But at least one of the release groups has already broken one of the games).....
