That shouldn't make any difference with CDR, only dvd-r and all games mentioned r rips.
Still think u got a magic chip. Only one way to tell for sure. Have a look, or alternatively take it back to guy who modded, express ur unhappiness and get him to show u that it's a messiah 2 fitted. Sounds like he bending u over and nailing u. Sort It!! Good Luck!!!!!!
