wire
does anyone have a pic shows that how the wires are laying on the ps2 board? becasue mine are bit mess, so i want to know how yo guys place ur wires !?

The best of us lay the wires flat on the motherboard, using hot glue or tape to keep it down. Best not to cross any components.

TRY not to run the wires across anything. If you MUST do so, make sure that they are well insulated, and DEFINITELY not crossing anything that gives off heat (here's a hint - if it has a heat block or heatsink on it, it WILL MELT YOUR WIRES).
Use nonconductive tape (electrical will do but there are better) or a glue gun to hold the wires down. If you're doing a sensible chip, you can usually run all the wires together in a neat little bundle. If, however, you're doing something back-asswards like the Magic 3, you're just gonna have to deal with a lot of wires running in different directions. Bleh. - Gurm |
