Ulead DVD Moviefactory

HELP! I've downloaded some comedy skits online (Mpegs) and am using Ulead DVD Moviefactory to write to DVD. I use the highest quality setting, but when I play it in our DVD player, the screen flickers quite a bit. The audio is fine and the picture is ok, its just the flickering that's driving me nuts. Any help??
