a straite cable is the type where all pins are identical wire for wire on each side.
i got my cable from pc world as part of a cheap £10.00 lan network kit. if you look at the tip of the cable you will see both ends are wired differentley to each other. from opposite ends Last edited by dude; 21-03-2003 at 06:01.
