I never heard of anything like a flip top...
Is this the thing where you take a little chip and stick it in the inside of your ps 2 with 2 connector cables that you have to pull out first and then stick it back in the chip?
I had this crap at first but i changed it into a magic 3 ... a friend of mine had the same problem with thps 4 and this swap magic trick **** ... but at my system everything ran perfekt ... maybe its the version of your ps`? i dunnow .. GO BUY A ****ING MAGIC 3 RIGHT NOW
