how do I patch a cd that requires the CD
I am looking for a utility that will patch games with CD-Checking protocol so that I do not need to have the cd in the drive.
I got my daughter a game, I-spy spooky mansion by scholastic, and as you might imagine; the CD is now scratched and getting worse. I can't find any patches for this so I was wondering if anyone knows how to go about removing cd-checking. Have a name of a utility for this? Any info would be appreciated.. Dancanjam |

friend, sorry I can't help ya really. BUT: I'd suggest to make a copy, called back-up!, now so your daughter can use the backup instead of the original to play.

Thanks Chrisi!
I am hoping to keep her out of the CD-R drive as well but that is certainly a good idea, thanks for the advice.. |

Hi dancanjam, if the CD is copy protected - that is, the copy doesn't work -, I might be able to help you. Drop me an E-mail. Perhaps, you could ask cdkiller, too, he also makes custom no-CD patches upon request.
