Is there any way to play divx or avi movies (from the pc) on a ps2?
is there some way to connect the ps2 or w/ the computer or some other program to do this?

There is a program that is called PS2Reality. This can play divx movies on the PS2 solong as you have a chip.It can be downloaded here you will need winrar to extract it and a program like Nero or CDRWin to burn the bin\cue file.
