1. get one or don't
2. not necessarily but highly recommended 3. almost all can be if you want to take the time to downsample or cut pieces out 4. depends on your drive - I've heard all of those playing in various Boxes except CDR 5. DRU500 is very popular - look for a different brand possibly priced cheaper 6. run games off of hard drive or spend the dough for a DVD writer
