Operation flashpoint problem (a new one)

I had a cracked operation flashpoint, and used the ultimate cracked patch on it.
But know I have the original game from the store...but that one won't start up.....it shows the screen to check for the cd ...but it doesn't start afterwards.
But when I put the crack on it...it works again...
could this be caused by remaining files from the cracked update??
please help....
Cause I hate that fade thingy

You may have old Daemon tools installed. It was doing that to me untill upgraded.

also check for multiple cdroms and stuff.

If you're saying that you've reverted back to the original install and you're having troubles still; I have seen and heard a lot about certain cdrom drives not working with certain legitimate SafeDisc protected games. I have personally had this problem with store bought games like System Shock 2 on my Yamaha 4260 cdrom drive. The Yamaha drives seem to be very common at having this problem. There isn't an easy fix and Yamaha can't/won't help. The only thing that I can do is use the most current Daemon Tools as stated previously (Even for games that have been bought at the store.) Ironic isn't it?

I've just can't se why U don't do a reinstall.
that's mean that U uninstall the ofp. Delete the folder.
Then install it again.

All the mods and so on can U do a backup.

Why in the world don't U do that?
