game controllers

I have 2 games here
black and white
soldier of fortune 2 helix angle
do these games work with a controller

i have a controller it is configured and it works with other games but i cant get it to work with these games
surly you dont have to use the keyboard for good games like this

"controller" is a VERY generic term. What exactly do you mean ? Joysticks, gamepads, mice, keyboards... are all controllers, which one do you want to use ?

Edit : for the two games you mention, keyboard + mouse is the standard (and most intuitive IMHO) controlling method. If you want to use a joystick, not many games support that.
