Question I Need advice with Magic 3 mod chip

Hello,

I have the "Magic 3" mod-chip I want to install for my PS2 version 2. I've looked everywhere and no one has on display a "Magic 3 Installation Diagram For V2" I've checked all other diagrams and my circuit board is still a little different. Please help if you can to tell me how I can get an install diagram for my version 2 PS2.

thanks in advance...

thanks bud, but still did not see my v2 board there. I must have a very rare one. I actually did find one on the web but it was for a Messiah install. Wish I had that one instead but I paid too much for this Magic 3 back in Oct. Let me know if you can think of anything else. Thanks again...

I see they only have v1 then skip to v3. In this case you would use the same diagram as the v1.

GH-004 and GH-005 are listed there in the magic3 website. What's the GH number on your motherboard?

Yes, my mother board lists it as being a GH-004. With this said should I just follow a diagram version, which ever that may be that is also a GH-004 diagram? So maybe it doesn't really matter how the components are configured as long the the "GH" number matches? I was worried that the configuration really mattered but I guess you are saying that it doesn't.....

thanks, let me know what you think...

In V1 they have 2 diagrams V1-A (GH-004) and V1-C (GH-005). My circuit says it's a GH-004 so I guess I'll go with the V1-A. Components are configured differently but I guess this won't make a difference, I hope....

thank you and others who replied...
