Charlie please help...Please....
I have a Playstation 2, 3901 model with a magic 3 mod installed. My Playstation was playing flawless with mod chip installed until recently. The blue eject button does not light up and does not allow me to eject disk or to start a game. The reset button comes on with no problems. Is there something wrong with my mod chip or a bad wire if so what wire would I look for to fix this problem. This is a brand new playstation with about two hours of playtime on it. I took another ribbon and eject button from my other playstation to test it and the same thing happens.

2 hours play, i take it it was modded recently, has the ps2 been moved since it was and now not working,my guess would be small solder ball has moved shorted something, could be ok if removed possibly could blown a fuse
o possibly wire has come off and is shorting, once again resolder it could be ok or it could blown a fuse no eject light sounds like the ba chip check fuse ps11 causes for blown ba chip normally overheating,i hope u put the piece of heatsinnk back on the chip

Eject button out............
I dont think that it would be a fuse because the reset button does come on and change from red to green its just the eject button. As far as the ba chip check fuse ps11 I have no idea what that means, thanks anyway. Thanks Mike
