Here are bootloader instructions and more...

You have to use Discjuggler, CloneCD or Nero to burn the bootloader CD.
You have to use CDRWIN to burn the Dreamcast ISO'S

Q: Can I backup my own Dreamcast Games?
A: No, you can't. Only a few people can do that shit.

Q: What the #### is a selfbooting Games?
A: It means that it will not need a Boot Disc (Cdloader) to play the game...

Q: Is burning a Self bootable game different then a burning a Regular game??
A: Yes, You do NOT need to Dummy a selfbooting game, also you NEED to use Disk Juggler to
Burn it...it will be in a CDI format

Q: How Do i Play a selfbooting game?
A: If burnt correctly, all you do is put it in your DC and turn the dc on!

Q: Does the DC require 'chipping' in order to run back-ups?
A: NO, Just put the Boot CD in your Dreamcast and turn it on. Wait for the loading screen,
open your Dreamcast, and put in your backup/import CD and play!

Q:Are the downloads resumable?
A: No, the downloads are not resumable.

Q:How do I burn the boot disc?
A:
Discjuggler Instructions
1. Download WinZIP and install it.
2. Download Discjuggler and install it.
3. Download the bootdisc.
4. Doubleclick the utp-load.zip file and extract the Cdloader.cdi file to your harddrive.
5. Start Discjuggler.
6. At the first popup window, select CD Image to CD Recorder and press OK.
7. In the Source box, type in the location of your Cdloader.cdi file.
8. In the Action box, select Test and if OK Write, then Verify.
9. Under the Advanced tab, under Mode, select Mode 1. Change nothing else.
10. Click on Start. Click Ok when it asks you to start actual burn. If it looks like it's stuck at 2% or 65%, It's not. Just Wait!
11. Check the CD, you should have 3 text files on it. Put the CD in your Dreamcast and turn it on. Wait for the loading screen, open your Dreamcast, and put in your backup/import CD and play!

Nero instructions
1. Download WinZIP and install it.
2. Download Nero and install it.
3. Download the bootdisc.
4. Double-click the nero-loader.zip file and extract the image.nrg file to your harddrive.
5. Start Nero.
6. At the first screen press CANCEL
7. Choose File, Burn Image
8. Browse to the directory where the image.nrg is located and doubleclick the image.nrg file.
9. Select Burn and click the burn button below.
10. Check the CD, you should have 3 text files on it. Put the CD in your Dreamcast and turn it on. Wait for the loading screen, open your Dreamcast, and put in your backup/import CD and play!

CloneCD instructions
1. Download WinZIP and install it.
2. Download CloneCD and install it.
3. Download the bootdisc.
4. Double-click the clonecd-loader.zip file and extract the files to your harddrive.
5. Start CloneCD.
6. Click Write from ImageFile. (2nd button)
7. Click browse and select the directory with the files.
8. Doubleclick the BootCD.ccd file.
9. Go to the write tab and click Start Disc Write (2nd button) Change nothing else.
10. Check the CD, you should have 3 text files on it. Put the CD in your Dreamcast and turn it on. Wait for the loading screen, open your Dreamcast, and put in your backup/import CD and play!


Q: How can I burn my downloaded game?

A:
CDRWIN instructions
1. Download WinRAR and install it.
2. Download CDRWIN and install it.
3. Download a game, let's say: Crazy Taxi
4. You have 4 files now.
5. Start WinRAR and browse to the directory with the kal-taxi.001 - kal-taxi.004 files.
6. Doubleclick the kal-taxi.001 file.
7. Click the Extract to button and click OK and wait.
8. Close WinRAR when the extracting is done.
9. Start CDRWIN
10. Click Record Disc (The first button)
11. Click Load Cuesheet
12. Browse to the directory where you have extracted the files.
13. Doubleclick the kal-taxi.cue
14. When loading is done finally click Start recording
15. When the recording is done, you first put the Boot-CD in your Dreamcast and turn it on.
16. Wait for the loading screen, open your Dreamcast, and put in the Crazy Taxi CD and play!

Q: How do i burn a game that has no .bin or .cue file?
A:
1. Make a dummy file so that the game is round about 648 - 650 megs big
2. Load NeroBurn
3. Click burn cd
4. Drag the game + dummy file in to Nero
5. Set all files (u can select all files) to highest prioty and the dummy file to lowest piroty
6. Click create cd and wait 10 - 40 minutes for cd to burn (depending on ur cd-r)
7. When the recording is done, you first put the Boot-CD in your Dreamcast and turn it on.
8. Wait for the loading screen, open your Dreamcast, and put in the CD and play

I've followed the instructions on how to make a boot-cd using cloneCD and everything went ok until i put it in a jap dreamcast and it didnt work, it went straight onto the music cd selection screen...I checked the cd to make sure the 3 txt files were on it and they were so does anyone know why it doesnt work?
