If his name is Gordon & he works on the Barras then no cos he does know his stuff! Try cleaning ur lense firstly, back-up games will fail before originals because they have a lower reflectivity.
When you say "less games" does this mean that some back-ups do load perfectly? Try loading ur games behind AR2 & see how you get on.
