I do agree that the messiah and magic chips are the best way to go but calling a no solder crap really isnt fair. Its better than alot of modchips on the market today. If using a no solder use the GS2 or Ar2. I got a magic 2 and a no solder and i can load and play hitman2 and pro evo on both consoles, britany's dance beat doesnt interest me . At the time i got my first v5 console the no solder was the ONLY mod that would play dvd-r.Magic swap disc and a no solder mod = crap, (i do agree )AR2 or GS2 and a no solder mod = a working solution that does allow the play of all cd and dvd direct backups without harming the console.HOWEVER , Once you add up what a no solder cost+ GS2 and a ogiginal hi toc dvd game you have paid almost enough to have purchased a messiah 2+ install
