I got a similiar problem as well..Except with me it's not TR3 rather with Tales of Destiny 2.. For the god sake's It will NOT BOOT on my PS2 what's so ever.. It plays on my PS1 fine but Ps2 it will not load.. I know there are some PS1 games that does not on the Ps2 with Messiah,Magic or Messiah 2 so my conclusion is that.. At least I think that's what it is..
