O.K. I think I found everything and will order a modchip after I figure out this new software. I downloaded Flash FXP1.4 and and evolution X with Xbox dashboard and bios. Is Evolutionx and evox the same thing? Also where is the best place to order that modchip from ? There is a newer exicuter Pro 2 out and I'm wondering if that is a better way to go versus matrix? |

backup techniques
Some of my friends have told me that the best way to copy xbox games is to get a program installed that enables you to rip games directly on to a 120 GB harddrive that you also get istalled. The only problem is that to get all the stuff necessary it will cost me about $550AUS what do you think of this type of game backup?
thanks |

dude
i personally would not even consider that method i backup all of my games to dvd-r, if you do backup the games to the xbox hd and you get a unexpected hd failure (can happed to any pc or other hd) then you'r screwed. it is expensive to buy all the eqpt to backup to dvd-r but in the end it's worth it as you can then back up all kinds of data including dvd movies. just my opinion later dude |

hiya Dude!
I see you are quite the pro here, so I've got a question for you! I'm trying to back up my DOAXBV, but using Craxtion and other XISO programs won't work, i've already screwed up like 4 DVD-R's. It seems that those programs always fail to put a file called "Fonts.xpr" in a directory into the ISO... The directory structure of the game is like this: main directory : buncha files, no probs here Media directory: no files inside, only another folder called Fonts Fonts directory: Fonts.xpr file only I wanted to use your method (RecordNOw Max), but my burner is not supported... (I have an LG GSA4040B btw)... Is there another program like Recordnow that works? Or is there a way to get Recordnow to recognize my DVD writer? Thanks a bunch man! |
