Try reading at a slower speed, use CloneCD and use Clony XXL to get the settings for the burn. Hope this helps...

I mean putting the disc in the CD-ReWriter and taking the data of it and making an ISO (image file), just like a Bin and Cue. Don't use fireburner - it doesn't do an EXACT copy like CloneCD. If you download CloneCD, I can give you Clony XXL as it is hard to find over the internet. Go to www.elby.de for the download.

OK, so If you can't make an image from a disk then simply burn at a slower speed, try 1 or 2 speed. It may simply be bad animation in the actual game - It may not have anything to do with your burn. 4x is usually a fantastic speed to burn CD-R at. That is probably the only other explanation failing an even slower burn.

If you are using high speed media then yes, burn faster but usually you would burn at a slower speed. Glad it's working now...

fireburner is POS btw.

verbatim is very good media.

you people dont really know what you're talking about do you? ^_^

the reason there is a lot of noise is because the LBA order of the dvdrip isnt the same as the DVD, so the laser searches frantically for where it should be, then it is told to go back to where it was.

rips are bad for the laser, for that very reason. slower speed might help, but you wont notice a large difference.

its just the rip.
