Thumbs down Different Makes Isn't All

Hi There

Ritek are undoubtably the best for media in my books, but they do some dodgy tricks. I was buying them and have been buying them for a while. They had a version that changed.

The problem was they did not change the name or anything on the face of the disk, they just changed the Dye. I'm sure you can see where that ended. PS2 backups that did not work in the PS2.

So as one post here states, when ordering ensure they have the Ritek Dark Purple Dye and you shall be rewarded with working backups.

Datasafe also do disk's that use the Ritek Dye. Infact Ritek make almost all of the disk's anyway. Traxdata is apparently their own brand.

Just thought the info here might of interest to some that don't know.
