Can you make backups of PS 1 games using Alcohol?

I read through the "Sticky" and went to the PS1 site for how to backups the games but there isn't any referral to Alcohol 120.

Is that because you can't?

If you can, can someone please tell me how to set the settings. I bought Gran Turismo 2 and Syphon Filter 2 for my kids and would like to back them up before they get to scratched

Thanks in advance

I think Alcohol 120 is fairly new, it has a long way to go if it's going to replace Clone CD. Until more people see a need to switch to Alcohol or until Alcohol has shown any benefits over Clone, I doubt there'll be a tutorial and you'll have to play with the settings, just remember to copy everything without correction and read sub-channel data if the software can you should be ok.

In Alcohol 120% you can select PLAYSTATION1-Profile for reading/writing.

I have used 120% and have found it hassle free. Yes it does have PSX PS2 profiles so you should be right. With my media, it was in fact the only program that would burn a working copy of THPS4. I personally prefer to use CloneCD and Nero for everyday stuff, but 120% looked the goods.
