Help Broken Fan Connector

when removing the fan from a PS2 V7. I inadvertantly pulled off the fan connector. I noticed it looks like it's soldered to the 2 large pads it sat on. Is it safe just to solder it anywhere on those pads, or does it have to be in the exact same spot?
