What do you understand when someone says "Open the program in a MS-DOS shell"??? You must 1) open the MS-DOS shell (START -> programs-> MS-DOS shell or so) 2) To simplify the question, copy the interested files in c:\ before doing in step 1) 3) Type "cd\" to go to C:\ root (you might start in c:\windows: if wrong, go manually to c:\ typing "cd c:\") 4) THEN type what the moderator just suggested you: command patch.xxx file.bin 5) Complete! Obtaining your previous results, you maybe double-clicked the .exe file in Windows... God, the Windows generation... Note: if what I wrote is a river of shit, just excuse me!
