Swap trick without a chip...
Hey.
I have just bought myself a pioneer A05 dvd-wr. It is coming tomorrow hopefully. Anyway, i backed up ages ago a game which i then played without any chip (this is a cd-r backup) then because i had unscrewed my ps2 i could insert an ar2 then take off the top of it, take the tiop off the disc tray > swap them over then press play and it would load up. Will i be able to do this with dvd backups of games etc. Am i going to have to get it chipped and if i am do you reccomend just a non solder chip with a swap trick method used or go whole way and get direct boot chip??? thanks Jonny |

Yes, but do you really want to be taking apart your ps2 just to be able to play games? Sounds like a pain to me. Get yourself a no swap mod like the Messiah 2.
